JEFFREY A. STELLY
With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley, where he majored in architecture, Jeff's architectural background is a great aid in deciphering frequently very complicated working drawings. He also acts as technical liaison between the architectural community and Con-Tech's more specialized staff.
The metamorphosis of Con-Tech's drafting department from solely a manual process to a complete Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) operation is one of Jeff's proudest achievements. He set up the system and familiarized the staff with its operation.
Jeff has been a part of Con-Tech's staff since 1989, during which time he has moved from supervising the drafting department to consultant. Jeff is now highly proficient in the planning of communications cabling serving voice and data, security and surveillance systems and background music and paging systems.
Jeff’s forte is the preparation of clear, precise, highly detailed system specifications for the bidding of the systems. The documents include general installation data, the quality level of materials to be used, and specific installation methods for the systems.
Jeff’s evaluations of bids received also reflect his attention to detail. The evaluations include detailed spreadsheets comparing materials submitted, including quantity and quality.
Jeff has provided systems planning for:
Ameristar Casino St. Charles - prepared project specifications for the surveillance and security systems and telephone, data and point of sale cabling.
Harrah's Ak Chin Casino - planned surveillance and security systems and background music and paging systems. Prepared system specifications and evaluated bids received.
